Still some problems displaying the post type WordPress/Facebook
-
See you’ve made a few adjustements and enhancements on this lovely plugin, but still I have a few issues I cannot resolve, I’ve been looking at your code but I’m still in the dark on these problems I encounter:
WordPress post type:
– Text from the message (post type) (below_text) is displayed in HTML when in live view. In Developer Tools (Chrome), where I should find html source code ‘<p>etcetera… ‘ I see double quotation marks around the content inserted by getLocationHTML(below_text). So … it doesn’t interpret the HTML is my guess….
– I’ve succesfully configured the settings for the Facebook Feed, but it caught my attention that in the case a Facebook status has no image attached to it, the status is not shown in the message, it remains blank. Such aggregated messages also do not link to the original message on Facebook, the link just contains the Site URL.
– The WordPress Icon from fontawesome font is still missing. Thx to your enhancement, I can change it to my preferred icon, but it just won’t accept the default wordpress icon. Just for your information, I don’t really need that Icon anyway.
Anyways, I see you have been busy updating your module, hope you see time to address these issues or give me some information on how to solve these (first two) problems.
If you like I could send you screenshots of the problems as they occur in my project.
