    Hi,

Checked the boxes on a page that has a video :

    Yes, Protect this content.
    Checked > ‘Membership’

When viewing the page, it allows the video to be shown and played but, says you must be logged in to view content?

I am trying to hide the whole page from non-members

    Any ideas please? ??

    Hi,

Is there a way to stylise the forms better instead of having to use css?

Also, thre theme in use has a login form and was hoping to use that instead of having to replace it with the this plug as its styled better.

Hi, thank you for reaching out to us. What type of theme are you using? Is it a Divi type theme or page builder?

Is there a way to stylise the forms better instead of having to use css?

Are you using the Form Builder addon by any chance?

    Kind regards.

    Hi,

Sorry for the delay in my response….

    Using Elementor

I did write a week ago on you’re site but not yet heard back

Do you have an address and I’ll send you site details

Presently, anyone can see video content

    Many Thanks

    Using Elementor

Unfortunately, Elementor is one of those plugins that are known, not to work properly with SWPM.

You might like to try the “Enable More Tag Protection” option from the settings menu of the plugin. See if that works for you.

    Kind regards.

    Hi,

    Thanks,

    Already had that checked,

It protects the text content on a post/page

However, these also contain a video which it does not so anyone can play it

There is one more option you can try. However if this does not work, there is not much more I can do for you unfortunately.

    Hi,

That’s a blow as I had it all pretty much set up and surprising that it doesn’t work with one of the top web builders – Elementor?

I did try the plugin you suggested but that does not work either

    I’ll try another ??

    Hi,

I have now managed to get this working using the plugin as you suggested

What is needed is the ability to position the message :

You need to login to view this content. Please Login. Not a Member? Join Us

The problem being is that this message is lost at the top of the page

Would it be possible to allow this message to be used via a shortcode as I could create a page to place it?

    Many Thanks

    Hi,

    The add on suggested works

However, it creates a problem with elementor

When you try to edit a page or post using elementor, it reports a 300 error

I deactivated all plugins and tested – one by one

When activating the addon, elementor then reported an error, not allowing to edit page of post.

    Please check the following addon.

However, it creates a problem with elementor. When you try to edit a page or post using elementor, it reports a 300 error

Have you tested one of WordPress default themes like Twenty Twenty? This error might come from your theme.

    Kind regards.
