Still seeing my old HTML website…

Hi there
I have an old website that I’d like to retire (originally built via Apple iWeb). I’d like to start using wordpress. I’ve installed wordpress yet when I go to view the website I’m still seeing my old website.
I’ve tried the following without any luck:

– I’ve downloaded wordpress into my root directory via cpanel.
– I’ve also removed the Index_html files from my public_html folder via Filezilla.
– My WordPress address AND site address (on the General tab of my WordPress admin area) both say: https://stevebowersphotography.co.uk
– I’ve also reinstalled new versions of WordPress Index_phb into my public_html folder.

I’m pretty new to all of this and despite my best efforts I still can’t see (the early forms of) my new wordpress website. Please help!!
