Still more comments trouble
-
Very, very frustrating. I installed WordPress out-of-the-box from Dreamhost, and comments simply were not, and were never, functional; posting simply redirected to wp-comments-post.php (in my case, a plain, blank white screen).
I tweaked the rest of the site to kill time, installed and then deactivated some anti-spam measures (ha! ha!), and then downloaded the wordpress 2.0.3 bundle again, and re-uploaded the original wp-comments php pages.
This action won me an all new error screen, for both users and admin. The error comes on line 27, when the php calls for the **undefined** function wp_get_current_user() –I’d like to remedy my own php, but kind of like when you take Spanish for two years, I can kind of read php but I sure can’t write it, haw haw.
What now, then?
