    @skytower1 If you enabled combining loaded CSS/JS and you cleared any caching (e.g. from your hosting, WP Rocket, etc.), then in GTmetrix it shouldn’t show you the files as loaded individually. And no, you do not have to upgrade to Pro in order to get the combining feature to work. It’s already included in the Lite version.

    As for trimming the version number, this is not a recommended practice anymore. In fact, it can be bad for the user experience. Here’s a post about it (you can find plenty of them if you Google about it): https://docs.wp-rocket.me/article/56-remove-query-string-from-static-resources (scroll to “Don’t use simplified solutions!”). Is there a reason why you would want to do that? The query string is removed (but the versioning number is encoded in the file name) if the files get cached and stored in /wp-content/cache/asset-cleanup/.
