Still getting referal spam from URLs on the blockes list

  • I installed the plugin a few days ago and notices a reduced number in referral spam in Google Analytics. However today I have noticed a significant spike in referral spam mostly from floating-share-buttons and event-tracking, both of which are on your list of references to block. Just wondering why these are getting through now.

    I have been noticing that too on my sites, probably these referrals have found other ways to reach sites.

    Can you tell me the URL of your site? I have a tool that can emulate referrals, I will check if these two referrals are being actually blocked or not, but I assume they are…

    As I thought, your site is able to block these two referrals without problems.

    Here two screenshots:

    So, somehow they still reach the sites… I will continue digging…
