Still getting comments from a website without my email address

  • I have removed my email address from Settings/General and replaced it with theirs. There is no contact form, only email links.

    But after two years I am still getting comments sent to me when someone comments on their blog.

    I have looked everywhere. What am I missing?

    The WordPress software distributed from www.remarpro.com is self-contained, meaning your WordPress website is entirely separate from someone else’s WordPress site. Changing settings on your site won’t affect someone else’s.

    If you are however talking about WordPress.com then you need to go to WordPress.com’s forums: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/

    Hi Andrew. I probably did not express my problem properly. I designed this independent website two years ago for a woman. While in development, everything came to me because i put my email in Settings/General. Once the site was finished, I replaced it with her email. But SOMEWHERE in some setting someplace, is still my email address because I continue to get comments from her blog emailed to me.
