Still getting “Above the fold” errors on google

On Google pagespeed I am getting this advice when veiwing the home page of my site:

Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content
Your page has 5 blocking script resources and 7 blocking CSS resources. This causes a delay in rendering your page.

But these scripts seem to be included into the bottom of the page rather than above the fold. Any idea on what is going on here?
