Still Fails to Backup After Update to Version 2.73

    Latest update which claims to resolve the issue, did not resolve it. Still fails to execute proper backup. Prior to update to 2.72, backup size was around 177 MB (I have a large and very busy site). After update to 2.72, the backup file size is 20 bytes. The same after update to 2.73. People who said in previous threats that 2.73 is now working, probably did not notice the size of the file to realize that the backup did not work.

    Are updates in 2.72 important? Can one go back to 2.71 which is the last release that worked?

    You can use 2.71 in the mean time while I think of a fix. In the mean time please use the sticky topic. I want to consolidate all the problems with 2.72.
