• As reported a few months back, your plugin still doesn’t work with Elementor Pro: It doesn’t show the Gravatar.

    You then asked this question:

can you provide more information on how Elementor is grabbing the author avatar as I suspect they and we may need to consider how the two plugins could better interoperate?

What exactly do you need? I’m keen to get this solved, let me know how I can help.

    Hi @jeffpaul,
See above, I forgot to tag you.

@paulnl we need to work to identify if this is an issue with Simple Local Avatars, Elementor, WordPress core, or a combination of the three. We’re tracking this issue here: https://github.com/10up/simple-local-avatars/issues/49/. Feel free to subscribe to that issue or contribute there if you know of a potential solution… thanks!

@paulnl can you give me some steps to reproduce your issue. I tested the theme builder for Single with the post comments widget, and the local avatar displays correctly.

@dinhtungdu, not sure why you refer to a theme? I didn’t mention a theme, and my remark will apply to any theme for that matter. I’m referring to Elementor Pro. To be precise, the issue happens when I use the ‘Author Box Widget’!

To check if it was something else in my WordPress setup that created this problem I switched to the plugin ‘WP User Avatar | User Profile Picture’. With that plugin it works out of the box.
