Still confused as to how this helps stop the sale?

    I’m still a little confused as to how this helps with CCPA. I don’t sell data, but just curious as to how this works.

    As you said, it allows you to create a button and link for them to opt-out of the sale of their personal information, but how does it integrate within all systems to stop the sale?

    For instance, our company has a sales page and when people buy they are automatically added to an email list.

    So, in theory, how would this plugin stop people who don’t want to opt-in from joining our list? I’m just confused as to how this stops this particular person from having their information sold. So I guess what I’m trying to say is how does this integrate with other systems to prevent the data being sold?
