Have you installed WordPress as a multisite network?

I am using two domains https://www.hyteps.nl and https://www.hyteps.com made possible with the plugin WPML.
However, even if I change the info e-mail to .com it still gives me the error; ‘This email address does not belong to the same domain as the site.’

I’m currently using two domains .nl and .com (made possible through the plugin WPML).
However, if use the .com email (or .nl) I still get the ‘This email address does not belong to the same domain as the site.’ error.

I don’t know about the WPML. If you are sure your From field has no problem, just ignore the error message.

Yeah its a multi site network.
Do you’ve any ideas on how to solve this error for a multi site?

I’m having the same issue on a multi site setup however in the from field I have [your-name] <[your-email]> and still get the error ‘This email address does not belong to the same domain as the site.’

I am also having issues with the From: field.

I understand the reason why it is best to use the same domain, but I am using a WordPress network of 80+ sites, all sites uses site1.subdomain.domainname.tdl, site2.subdomain.domainname.tdl etc., with domain mapping for real domain names on top ??

The header info of the received emails appear to be subdomain.domainname.tdl but I get an error unless I use site1.subdomain.domainname.tdl

I’m concerned that if I use site1.etc… then the header info will be wrong and could still look like spam?

To make matters worse, all email is sent out of mailgun.org (Rackspace).

    Any thoughts or suggestions?

    Regards,
    David

p.s. for the record, I think the validation update IS a good feature!
