Sticky to Normal Menu Transition

  • When you scroll back up and the sticky menu changes back out to the normal, it is really clunky. Our client wants a smoother transition, but I can’t for the life of me get it to not snap back into place.

    Thanks for posting a link.

    I don’t think this is possible whilst you have some items set to “justify” (so that the menu items stretch to fill the width of the menu bar) and also have some items showing/hiding when the menu is stuck. It is the “display: none” to “display: block” that can’t be transitioned smoothly, as it is either just “on” or “off”.

    Therefore, the best I think you can do is either remove the CSS that justifies the top level menu items (so the width does not change then the menu becomes unstuck), or make it so that the social icons are visible when the menu is unstuck.
