Sticky Posts on homepage to remain

Hello,

I have several posts on my homepage that I would like to permanently stay (Sticky posts) regardless if new posts are created in the same post category. I have these posts set as sticky but new posts take over by date preference if they are new.

Is there a way to lock these posts better to stay on the homepage and not be updated with new content in the same post category or tag?
