Sticky post image

  • How does the get_the_image() function determine which single-thumbnail image to use as the featured one? I’d generally like to use the first image in the post, but usually the second image is grabbed as the feature image.

    Just checking back in on this, as I’m still having problems with showing the correct image thumbnail. Is there a way I can force the first image in the post to be used as the thumbnail?
