Sticky post for homepage?

  • Hi,

    Is there any way of making a post sticky on the homepage?

    Or alternatively creating a static page for the homepage that has the recent posts listed underneath?

  • There’s a plugin that will do this here, or you can create a static page and use an RSS feed to display your last 5/10 posts.

    If you’re on 2.7, you can ‘stickify’ any post you like. When you edit it and click on “visibility: public” (I believe that’s what it says) you can make a post into a sticky.

    can you make a post sticky but not display the post title?
