Sticky post displays as a link

    No, WordPress hasn’t changed the way they do stickies. The way stickies are handled will vary from theme to theme. ??

    The manner that Twenty Fourteen handles them is by adding to the slider if you don’t have a featured tag set|selected. The reason for the black textured image|background is because when it is set to sticky|featured it will use the featured image for the image|background.

    Thanks, Jose Castaneda. The blog is brand new and I wasn’t married to twentyh-fourteen, it was just the default when In installed WP. Changed to a different theme and no more nasty slider/sticky problems!
