Hi, thanks for the great plugin.

It seems that after one of the recent updates the “Sticky in Month View” function stopped working. Check it, please.

    Hi @bookinist

Thanks for reaching out. Let me help you with this one.

Could you try to uncheck the “Enable the Month View Cache” option from Events > Settings > General page, and see if that makes a difference? If it does, please check it back and see if that resolves the issue.

Let me know how it goes.

Darian, thanks for your quick reply. It was always unchecked. However, now I tried to check and uncheck it again, nothing changed.

    Hi @bookinist ,

    Thank you for your message.

I’d like to note that the Sticky in Month View option is most useful when you are showing only a few events on the month view’s day cell, which you configure in Events -> Settings -> Display (tab) -> Month view events per day. Furthermore, the setting is also significant to single-events that starts and ends on the same day, multi-day events doesn’t have an effect when this is selected.

    Hi @tristan083,

    Thank you for your reply.

Sure, it’s obvious.) On my site I have ONLY “single-events that starts and ends on the same day“. No start/end time, no multi-day events. The problem is that both of settings you’ve mentioned doesn’t work.

    Hi @bookinist ,

    Thank you for your message.

It looks like you’re referring to “all day” events here. I apologize, as I failed to mention that all-day events behave the same way as multi-day events, where they’re stacked together at the top of the events that have start/end time in the month view calendar.

That said, I’m afraid these too does not have an effect when the sticky in month view is selected for these events.

    Hi @tristan083,

    Thanks for your reply.

Yes, I was referring to “all day” events, sorry for didn’t mention this. I want to understand, the problem is on my side or it’s a bug of plugin?

This is the plugin’s default behavior, I’m afraid, @bookinist .

Thanks to tristan083, now I can change the position of all day event by changing of its publish date. If somebody has the same problem, the solution is here.
