Sticky footer with Twenty Twelve

I wrote a blog post on adding a sticky footer to the twenty twelve theme:

@rob_uk I followed the instructions, but can’t get it to work. It cleared the styling of the table I have in my footer and removed all padding at the bottom. Did I miss something?

Edit: So I managed to fix my styling. Whew. But there footer is still not sticky, and now there is unwanted spacing at the bottom of the padge, assumingly because I added margin-bottom: 33px; to #footerWrapper, as the bottom padding disappeared from the footer.

rob_uk’s guide worked fine for me on a twenty twelve child.

I haven’t been able to get it to work, although it’s a great explanation.

@carpetcrawler, could you please provide a link so I can see how this worked out for you?
