Sticky Footer Recommendation

  • I want to use the ditty news ticker in a sticky footer at the bottom of my website curestr.org. What is the recommended way for accomplishing this? The goal is to have it go across the entire screen on desktop and mobile.

    You just need to embed the ticker into your sticky footer using one of the embed methods. It depends on how you are making your sticky footer.

    If you are using a custom theme I would suggest using the Direct Function embed method and copy/paste it into your theme files. If you are using some sort of plugin or you have a sticky footer option for your theme you would need to copy/paste the shortcode into a content area that displays in that area… Or create a child theme and modify the sticky footer area and add the Direct Function embed.

    The ticker is no different than any other html element, the main thing is getting your sticky footer working and then placing your ticker within it.
