Sticky Footer misaligning div tags???

Hey there, I am making a website that uses sticky footer. The concenpt of sticky footer requires that I wrap the content in a wrapper. My wordpress site has seperate php files that build dynamically resulting in an unclosed wrapper div tag in the header and the closing tag in the footer.

I think this is causing some of my elements to act funny in IE, but I could be wrong. I could use a second opinion on this as its resulting in alot of sleepless nights:(

I validated the page in WSC and I getting around 20 errors of misaligned divs….
