Steps to Push Staging Site Live

    I’ve read lots of pages about how to move a staging site contained in a subfolder of the live site to and make it the actual live site. It looks like your plugin is the simplest way to do that, but I wanted to get confirmation of the steps involved before using it. It looks like what I need to do is:

    1) Install the plugin.
    2) Export the staging site in its entirety.
    3) Install the plugin on the live site.
    4) Import the backup file exported from the staging site.

    Is there a need for search and replace of the staging site domain after importing the staging site backup?

    No, the plugin will do the search and replace for you. It is really easy and simple.

    Unfortunately, my host won’t allow 512Mb uploads, even with editing the .htaccess file. ??

    Never mind! Downloaded the extension (didn’t realize the link was the extension page, not the actual plugin page) and the site has been pushed live successfully. Thanks!
