Steps Appearing out of order

    Hi Michael-

    I’m having a frustrating problem with a badge.

    The first 10 steps were displayed in order but now any step I create beyond that is appearing our of order. The new steps come in around at the 3rd step and then continuing in to the 4th spot etc.

    Do you need any other info?

  • If you reorder manually, after you’ve initially saved the steps, and click ‘Save All Steps’ again, that will save the correct order going forward.

    To reproduce this specific bug, the save must happen after creating new steps, when no steps were added yet in the UI.

    I’ve patched the issue in our “alpha” branch of our project. I’ll do my best to ensure this fix goes out in the very next release, which may be today. I’ll follow up with you once it’s been pushed to wp.org

    This has been pushed into BadgeOS 1.3.1, going forward, the issue should no longer occur. This does not fix previously saved steps, those will need to be reordered as needed.

    This issue has a returned I’m afraid.

    I did not add or edit any of the steps. They just suddenly appeared out of order.
    Dragging them around does not change anything.
