Steps 2 and 3 are switched

  • Hello,

    without your plugin, our Checkout has three Steps:

    1.) Billing & Shipping
    2.) Payment Details
    3.) Order Confirmation and Order Button

    With your plugin, it has

    1.) Billing & Shipping
    2.) Order Confirmation and Order Button
    3.) Payment Details

    So Steps 2 and 3 are switched!
    How can I switch them back?

    I would need

    1.) Billing & Shipping
    2.) Payment Details
    3.) Order Confirmation and Order Button

    I have switched on the following Checkboxes:

    -Show the Billing and the Shipping steps together
    -Show the Shipping step

    The default checkout page (without the WP Multi-Step Checkout plugin) has the Billing & Shipping section, then the Your Order section and afterwards the Payment section with the “Place Order” button integrated in the Payment section. See this screenshot. Why are your last two steps switched?

    The Germanized for WooCommerce plugin seems to switch the last two steps. I assume this is part of the German law. Are you using a plugin similar to Germanized for WooCommerce to switch the last two steps?

    It’s true, we use the Plugin “German Market”, but I have not found the option for the switching yet. When I deactivate this Plugin the steps are still as before.

    If this is indeed German Law (which I must check) then we cannot change this order of steps. In that case…could your plugin then be configured/changed to comply to German Law?

    Currently the multi-step checkout plugin is compatible with the Germanized for WooCommerce plugin and it switches the last two steps, as you need.

    The German Market plugin is a commercial plugin and we didn’t build a compatibility with it. Would you be willing to help me make the plugins compatible? For that you’ll need to contact me through the silkypress.com website.
