• I have my weight Step = 0.5 and shipping Rate = 210 (RMB)

My product weighs 1KG (all my products weigh 1KG – setting up test site on MAMP, all products are duplicates)

However when I add products to cart and calculate, it is calculating them as half kg products.

    ie 1 product is costing 105 Shipping, 2 is costing 210, 3 is costing 305. Instead of 1 = 210, 2 = 420, 3=630 etc.

Unfortunately, as I said, I’m developing offline on MAMP so difficult to get help. I am using Genesis with Sample Child theme, Genesis Woocommerce Connect, latest WooCommerce, no other plugins so far.

This plugin seems ideal for my requirements, but I’m flummoxed.

    Any help would be great.

Shipping Rate is for 1 kg (not per weight step) as it stated in the hint text right under the field. So just double your current value and you’ll be fine.

I can double my current shipping rate.

However as you said in the hint it says:

“Set your shipping price for 1 kg. Example: 1.95(¥/kg).”

So I have set my shipping rate for 1 Kg… ie 210 in that box.

In the configurations at the top it states, shipping rate 210.

However 1KG goods are being calculated at 500g rate. My 1KG product is calculating 105RMB for shipping.

I can double the rate and it should fix it, but I don’t understand your hint and having to input double the rate leaves me a little nervous.

Having said that, thanks for your plugin, apart from this it fits the bill nicely.

Sorry, I missed you actually set Shipping Rate to the correct per-kg value of 210. It should be working as you expect it. There must be something else affecting shipping cost calculation. Do you have other options set in the rule, like Min Weight, Extra Weight Only or Shipping Class Overrides?
