Step 2 Errors: Warning: preg_match()…

  • I cant get this installer to work..

    all the settings are 100% correct in my config file…

    Ive searched the forum about this but cant seem to find a straight answer. I’m sorry to post the entire error (what follows) but if anyone can help me i would appreciate it.

    Second Step

    I not sure whats going on here.

    Can you provide the following info to help track this down:

    PHP Version, Apache (Or other webserver version), Host Operating system and version

    PHP Version:
    PHP 4.3.10

    Apache:
    Apache/1.3.33 (Unix)

    Host Operating system and version:
    Red Hat Linux release 7.3 (Valhalla)

    Check your password for certain characters like ” / ” and “#” . I had trouble with a password with a “/ “, changed it and all was OK.
