STAY THEME > Reservation Widget

  • Hello Guys,

    i’m working on a wordpress blog with the wonderfull STAT Template by Automatic https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/stay/

    but i’m having a little trouble.

    This theme use to come with a “Reservation widget” to put in the header of the site. But i can not find this widget in my widget area.

    I read on wordpress.com forum that this widget come with a registration thru this page https://en.wordpress.com/hotels/

    But this blog is self hosted blog so i can not register it thru this page.

    Does anyone know how to get this widget ?

  • I am experiencing the same issue: apparently the widget is available only on WordPress-hosted websites (I activated one just to check). Let’s hope Automattic makes the widget available to the public.

    Follow-up:

    I just tested Automattic’s reservation widget (from a wordpress.com website).

    Actually it is nothing more than a contact form where guests can inquire about availability.

    There is no reservation database, calendar or anything like that, the host is supposed to check availability the old way and reply.
