stay away – not ready for prime time

  • first time editing my contest rewardsfuel lost all my data.

    i was using safari on a mac so i figured safari was not playing nice. so i thought i’d try chrome.

    the following night the same thing happened. the entire contest, rules, description, and 9 prizes all gone in a flash. chrome was no help.

    the editor does not work.

    you’ve been warned. you’ll only have yourself to blame when the editor wipes your work clean away.

    Hello Jan, are you one of their paid minions? Is that how you know I did not open a support ticket?

    I did correspond be email with my dedicated support person “Rochelle” several times. Her “help” was to ask me if pressed the “save” button. BRILLIANT!

    I’ve been using WordPress and dozens of other online tools and plug-ins for the web for 10+ years. I’m not some wet eared newbie that doesn’t understand how this shit works.

    When PREVIOUSLY SAVED work just flat out disappears, I don’t need help. The developers do. Obviously they did not test the system deeply enough on a Mac and with multiple edits.

    I wish somebody had posted a ONE STAR review before I wasted two evenings on this NOT READY for prime time plug-in.

    Hopefully RewardsFuel will fix their editor problems so they don’t get more 1 star reviews.

    Darn it! My cover is blown! After 10 years of being a support forum volunteer, I’m finally revealed to be a Paid By The Man? Minion!! Drat! Drat!

    Yes, I’m kidding of course. I have no relationship to this plugin or it’s authors. I’m a forum moderator and the reason I wrote what I did was that sometimes people just don’t know or do not bother to seek support first.

    My reply should have been “Did you seek support first?” and your reply clearly shows that you did. Thanks for clearing that up.

    We are sorry to hear you had issues. We try our hardest to make the software as good as possible but we’re a small company. Some of the features auto-save, some do not and thanks to your suggestions we will ensure they all do.

    We have fully tested the contests in the Mac/Safari, but not all the features of the editor. You are correct, for that we are sorry, but we are a very small company and we are trying to improve as fast as we can.

    We have fully refunded your $7.95 and again are sorry for any problems this caused you.
