• Had some major issues getting this plugin to work correctly and it was very difficult to set up as there is very minimal documentation or guidance to assist in setting things up. I did get a lot of support from the Thimpress team (Ken) afterwords which helped a lot. We will see how it works going forward.

    Hi gpeckford,

Firstly I am so sorry for any inconvenience you had.

Do you purchase a premium add-on and got issues with it?

Can you give me a chance to assist? LearnPress is easy to use, I just checked your site, you already built some completed courses.

Just let me know if you need any assistance.

    Regards,

    Ken

I am sorry Ken but I am very frustrated at the moment. I have put a lot of work into developing these courses and now I cannot get it to work the way it should. I have woo commerce on my site so I purchased the woo commerce plugin with the hope that this would allow me to have customers pay and register all within the woo commerce payment. Instead they still have to register through wordpress first, wait to get an email to create a password and then come back to my site, log in, and search for the course sales page again and then click purchase to use the woo commerce purchase page. This is extremely inconvenient for a customer and will more often than not result in lost customers as they will never take all the required steps to finalize the purchase. I paid for the premium plug in to help fix this issue but it seams this is not part of its functionality at all. The whole point of having woo commerce is so that people can click on my product (the course) and pay/register all in one action. I don’t understand how it can work the way it is right now. I put a lot of time developing the course content in learnpress only to have it be useless to me on my site. Maybe I am missing something but I have been working on this for hours and cannot get it working properly. How do you link the course with a woo-commerce product?? If you can’t what is the point of the woo-commerce plugin (add on)?

    Hi gpeckford,

Your settings may be wrong or you are using an old version of the WooCommerce add-on.

In this case, just email me at [email protected] with subject “gpeckford – LearnPress Support”, I will send you the latest version of that add-on and help you to set it up.

    Regards,

    Ken

Plus there is absolutely no support to help people get things set up! No explanation anywhere? I purchased the woo commerce add on and i got the download file and nothing to help me set it up? People who are purchasing your products are not programmers or IT experts which is why they are using your products. There has to be some support and guidance to help use your products properly. You can develop as much functionality as you like and produce the most amazing product but if you don’t provide support and instruction on how to use it then it is worthless to them.

Yes, I agree. It’s our mistake.

LearnPress 2.x is new, brand new, and the documentation is not up to date yet. Our fault and I am deeply sorry about this.

I still hope you can give me a chance to assist you in this case. I will try to set it up for your site first and we are working for those documentations now.

    Regards,

    Ken

ok, I am happy to get your support as I really do not want to have to reduce all this work. I will happily change this review if you can help me get it set up properly.
