STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLUGIN

    STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! Unfortunately www.remarpro.com will not let me publish the emails that I received from this company. I will however, be posting them on my personal website and I will add a link to them shortly.

    I installed the plugin and it would not import images. I found out it’s part of their subscription package. They have a free 14 day trial. I figured what the heck. I subscribed and tried it. Still could not get the plugin to work.

    I logged into my account. Clicked on my email address at the far top right of the screen and went through the cancellation process and cancelled my free trial. It stated that the trial would end immediately not at the end of the 14 days. I uninstalled the plugin and that was that. Well, at least I thought!

    Then came the emails upon emails from this company. After two days of receiving emails from multiple email addresses from this company I tried to unsubscribe but there is NO unsubscribe email link in the email. One of the emails was from an employee named Charlie O. I replied and said to remove my email address. No response.

    Few days later I still was receiving emails. I forwarded the email again to Charlie O stating the United States spam law. He replied and said my email address would be removed.

    I did not receive anyone more emails from this company. Then on the 14th day I received a Bank of America email alert showing that I was charged from Germany $349.00. I called Bank of America right away and disputed the charge. They blocked my card and removed the charge. I had to do a chargeback.

    I also emailed RSS Importer. Kerstin from this company replied. She said you signed up for the free service and I WILL NOT REFUND YOUR MONEY. I stated this was a fraudulent charge and to immediately refund my money. Again, she would not. I emailed back stating I will be doing a chargeback with my bank and writing a bad review.

    She emailed me back and said if I write a bad review she would sue me and because they are in Germany if I ever visited an European nation I would go to jail because I put her email responses online. Kersten, there going on my personall website. People need to know about how bad and disgusting your company is and I contacted my United States business lawyer. IT’s NOT ILLEGAL. Your doing business in the United States. There to a United States email address (MINE) and in the United States you can publish the emails as long as they are not changed. Kersten your threats are meaningless to me!

    She then went onto my personal YouTube channel and found a video of my dogs and she saw their names were Buster and Chance”. She emailed me and threated my dogs by name “Buster and Chance”! WTF! WHAT KIND OF COMPANY IS THIS!

    Then they claim I was harassing them! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! Bank of America refunded my money.

    Please to Review this thread and moderate it, I don’t think it’s in the interest of anybody if emails start getting posted all over the place and I don’t think it’s legal in any western juridiction to do this without the consent of the email/copyrights holder/writer, but IANAL.

    This person has been insulting, harassing and threatening one of my team members, the very person supposed to help him from the start, and I really mean from the very first email he sent to the support channel.

    Second: 90% of what was written here is simply a lie and misrepresentation if the reality.

    Third: For privacy and legal reasons, we’re not posting anything regarding the emails here.

    Fourth: The only truth part of this (10%) , is that we’ve forwarded his threats, harassment emails and blackmailing threats after several warnings to our lawyer. IANAL so, anything else will be handle by the competent person. I’ve reviewed my team member and his email exchange and reading an email sent to a young lady with a text like: BTW, Fuck OFF ! and a message informing her that he left a 1-star bad review on wordpress with a smile of satisfaction… oh well, I guess that’s how some users behave.

    I’ve seen free users complaining for me not logging into their wordpress to help them for FREE….., and I just saw one of our free users leave a 1-star review because I dared to not answer him in less than 24 hours on a question he posted on the forum, huh!??…This is a learning process, so we are all learning from this process and improving our product and the service.

    BUT

    Getting insult and harassed is unfortunately not yet included in our premium or free service, this being said: This being a premium service issue, there’s actually no reason he should be posting it here, leave alone the fact that this is indeed unlawful in many jurisdictions. Nobody is suing anybody, he has been informed that this is illegal and could get him sued and a lawyer will review those emails, mainly for the harassment , threats, blackmailing and privacy breach. And NO, customer supports doesn’t mean you have the right to throw anything at my team members, harass and insult folks at your will and lust… we don’t plan to offer that kind of customer support anytime soon.

    Done with this and leaving it to the discretion of the MOD.

    Well… sort of. I’m not aware of any privacy laws that prevent that. When you send someone an email they are absolutely under no obligation to you to keep that private.

    That said (and I am not a lawyer) I’ve redacted the email correspondence because it’s not really appropriate to post that here verbatim.

    @dsfinancial please don’t do that again. You can explain (and have) what happened without posting the author’s email address or correspondence.

    Here’s the thing: your service offering is part of your plugin. It is valid and legitimate for people to post their experiences here for that service just as it is valid of you to offer that service.

    I’m going to close down this review topic because the back and forth is not productive. The plugin user posted his issue in this review and you’ve replied. That’s going to have to do.
