@niuivan As hard as this may be to accept, the developer is not only correct, but they’re not an uncommon example. Yes, this is a highly used plugin, but a great many are actually small teams or even a single human!
There’s a great comic that points out this is pretty much how the web works – https://xkcd.com/2347/ – on the backs of individual people who make things.
This plugin is used by 6000 people (you can see that on the plugin page), which makes it a pretty normal, mid-to-low use plugin (anything under 10k is considered that). And not offering weekend support? Hey I champion that and constantly tell the volunteer mods here and on plugins to take the weekend off. It’s healthier.
While your complaint (not getting help promptly) is understandable, it’s also pretty unrealistic. And your devolving into strange claims (600k users — I’m assuming that was a typo/misread on your end) and calling them a scammer simply because they didn’t reply over a weekend? That’s [pushing this over the top.
The developer has replied beautifully. If your end choice is to not use a plugin that doesn’t have 24/7 support, then you should stop using this. But that doesn’t make him a scammer.
I’m closing this post to new comments, and flagging your account for moderation. Don’t make a new review. Don’t go on any sort of hate-brigade after them. Just walk away.
If you want to pursue a refund, you should read item 10 on https://codex.easypropertylistings.com.au/article/64-extensions-terms-conditions – it’s pretty robust!
@mervb1 Since your replies are basically perfect and reasonable, I am going to leave this post up so that it demonstrates to the world how you kindly and politely handle reviews like this. It goes a long way to making people trust you when you can take something like this and keep your cool. Good job! I wish more people were as level headed.
