STAY AWAY – FRAUD ALERT

  • Stripes lets all kind of payments go through, no 3D verificaction, no postal code verification and lets fraudsters try hundreds of times with different credit cards from IP addresses that are thousands of miles of miles away from the credit card holder’s home address. This is an big issue in latinamerican countries. It also fails to reemburse cardholders when you identify a fraudulent purchase hitting you with charge-backs and aditional fees. Customer support is of no help.

    Can I ask if your review is about Stripe.com the business or the WooCommerce Stripe plugin? Our plugin enables people like yourself to use Stripe directly on a WooCommerce site, but we are Woo don’t have any oversight into the payment processing.
