    Hi,

I have a suggestion for a feature: “recently active” like the “plugins” menu in the backend does this.

    Example:

when you disable a plugin, it appears on top of the plugin list at “recently active”, so if you disable some more at once, you can go back to this “recently active” list and enable them again:

    https://imgbox.com/FFeIQ5Uy

That would be a great feature for “Code Snippets” plugin itself, too.

    The background info:

I have over 100 snippets and sometimes I have to disable some of them for testing purposes, so I can activate them again later all at once again.

However, these snippets that are disabled for testing purposes appear in the complete list of all deactivated snippets, so it’s almost impossible to find exactly those snippets we just had disabled.

It would be great if the recently disabled snippets would appear in a “recently active” list and you could then “clean” this “recently active” list via the button as the plugin menu does this for example.

This plugin already has a recently active feature that works almost identically to how it does with plugins.

Here’s a screenshot of how it looks.

I realise this is a little different to having a list of recently deactivated snippets, would it still work in your situation?

Where is your screenshot coming from?

I have your plugin version 2.12.1 with WP 4.9.8, but even when I disable one snippet, no “recently active” appears.

At my end it looks like this:

Is there a link missing, perhaps of the German translation of this plugin?

I disabled some snippets today, but they always appear in the “inactive” list.

If you activate a snippet and then deactivate it, it should show up in the list.

    no, not at my end:

I disabled the first snippet, reloaded the page, and no link appears on top for “recently active”.

For plugins it is working, for example: https://imgur.com/a/8p3EOZP

I disabled all my plugins, to avoid conflicts, but that does not bring me that “recently active” column for code snippets; by the way: I never had such a column, and I use Code-Snippets now for a very long time.

You need to begin with an inactive snippet, activate it, then deactivate it, and then refresh the page for the count to update.

Okay, done – but no change:

    By the way:
I have 3 other WP installations – at each it is the same: I don’t have “recently active” at all.
Is this perhaps missing in the German version? I’m not a coder, just asking …

I checked a few other things:

    1. the “recently active” is showing NOT, when your plugin is installed at a multisite, but only activated on ONE sub-site (subdirectory) of this multisite, no network activation! I do not use network snippets.

    2. the “recently active” is in fact showing on a single WP installation (same plugins, same theme)

Ah, interesting. Sounds like there might be a bug in the plugin then. I’ll take a look, thanks for discovering that.

Thank you, that would be great.

I have checked a lot of other things like deactivating all plugins, or I deleted all except of 3 snippets to avoid conflicts with snippets, I tried the TwentyFifteen Theme instead of ENFOLD etc. – all the same. That really seems to be a multisite thing.

This should be fixed in version 2.13.0.
