From four days the status of the warnings is “Sent” but “Status displayed” and “Date displayed” are always displayed 0 (zero). Can you solve it?

    Hi,

Do you send HTML email or Plain Text email?

“Viewed Status” & “Viewed Date” are only track in HTML emails. If people click on “Load images” into their mail client if by default it’s not loaded.

So, there are chances where people have opened your email but not clicked on “Load Images”

    Hope that answers your questions.

    Hi,
For years I have been sending in html and so far it has always worked. It hasn’t worked for 5 days anymore.

    Hi,

    Aha ok.

Can you please check whether “Track Opens” is checked under Email Subscribers > Settings > General?

It only tracks open if it’s checked.

Thanks. I will do it in the coming days.

    Hi,

I am experiencing a similar problem. Both the viewed status and viewed date is ‘-‘

It worked on the test run on saturday but the 110 emails I sent yesterday have no viewed status or date.

I have confirmed the ‘track opens’ is checked.

    Kind regards,

    Thysk

@thysk @agb2017 We have double-checked with the ES 4.2.2 and it came to our notice that email open track is not working.

We have fixed the issue and released a new version of Email Subscribers (4.2.3)

Along with this fix, we have also patched six vulnerabilities. We highly recommend updating to ES 4.2.3
