Status auto update upon successful charge?

    I am using test mode to test the whole process.

    I realised that the status in woocommerce it is processing, is there anyway to automate it to a successful charge when my stripe received the payment?

    Then subsequently if the processing will automatically changed to cancelled. Please kindly advise how to go about doing this ?

    Or at least is this status function needed to be “manually” edited?

    Hi archangeze,

    There are two possibilites: if the charge is successfully authorized and captured then the order status is set to ‘Processing’. If the charge is merely authorized, then the order status is set to ‘Pending Payment’.

    Orders which are ‘Pending Payment’ with authorized (but uncaptured) charges can have those charges captured by changing the order status to ‘Processing’ or ‘Complete’.
