Stats Visitors versus Views Lag

    There seems to be a delay in the reported stats–page visits is much higher than visitors with the latter catching up over time.

    My question: is this “normal” or does it suggest a performance problem of some type with my site.

    That’s indeed normal: at the moment your visitor counts are slightly delayed. This metric depends on complex, computationally intensive calculations. We’re continually fine-tuning the mechanisms we use to make them as quick and accurate as possible.
