Stats Plugin not working with dot com API Key

    I have setup my www.remarpro.com account but I want to use an api key to allow the stats plugin to work. I have signed up for a wordpress.com blog account as that’s the only way to get an api key as I checked on google. When I tried to use the api key with my www.remarpro.com account I get this message:

    Error from last API Key attempt:

    The owner of that API Key (myusername) is not on the access list for this blog (myblognumber). Stats was installed using a different API key. The owner of the original key can add users to the access list, or you can contact WordPress.com support.

    How do I add users to my access list on my myusername.wordpress.com account so I can get the api key for that account to work on my dot org account? Do I need to tweak settings and if so, how? Please respond soon. Need help.
