stats page give a lots of 500 server error

I’m using wordpress.com stats in 3 websites hosted in share server, from the latest release something does not work properly. Just pushing the button to see the page stats and we get error 500.
I’ve checked into why we have been receiving these internal server errors,
and it seems the scripts have been getting automatically killed by the Process Watcher script (DreamHost) due to the sites going over Memory limits on the shared server (vsize=256788.0). Thus wp-stats does that, and the server “kill for total RAM” his process.
