Hi guys, been using Jetpack for 14 years with very few issues but today I’ve noticed that my stats are out of sync between my MacBook WP admin and my iPhone Jetpack app. iPhone shows what seems to be correct 750 views for the day so far, the laptop has been stuck on 369 views for the last 8 hours or so.

I’ve re-synced Jetpack data, disconnected, reconnected, cleared all my caches, restarted MacBook, cleared LiteSpeed caches, etc. I’m stumped, any ideas?

Clue: my Gravatar images are different on my phone vs what I see here logged in to www.remarpro.com. I don’t know if that’s significant.

    Regards,

    Mike

    Hi there, @mikefitzman,

Thanks for reporting this issue and for mentioning the Gravatar image mismatch – that’s a lead I’d like to check with you.

The username here on the www.remarpro.com account indeed appears in our WordPress.com/Jetpack records too, and I can confirm that the image profile is different. That made me wonder whether you have used a different email address for the www.remarpro.com account.

Is is possible that you’re logged in on your desktop computer with this account, while you’re logged with the Jetpack account in the Jetpack App? That might explain the Stats mismatch.

I checked the Stats on my end, and I can see that the ones displayed in the App make sense. Let me know if logging in with your WordPress.com account (the same one used in the App) on your desktop machine will make any difference.

Hi Stef, thanks for getting back to me. I was able to resolve a few hours after posting by synchronising gravatar details everywhere (except here it seems where my old pick still appears), disconnecting and reconnecting Jetpack and stats resynchronised across both platforms. I’m sure this is because I’ve been using Jetpack/Wordpress for so long and changed login details many times across WordPress.com, www.remarpro.com, WP admin, Jetpack app, etc. I’d love to reduce this all down to one login, not sure how to do that. Also don’t want to risk losing WP-admin access!

    Hey @mikefitzman,

I am so glad to hear that you fixed it! What you did was my second step, after ruling out any other possible account mismatch (my first suggestion above).

I think we might be able to help on this:

I’d love to reduce this all down to one login, not sure how to do that. Also don’t want to risk losing WP-admin access!

Jetpack includes the Secure Sign On feature that could come in handy to you: https://jetpack.com/support/sso/

Thanks to this option, when enabled, you should be able to leverage your WordPress.com login to access all your Jetpack sites. You can still use also your www.remarpro.com login credentials, but using only one login account should streamline the login process.

Give it a try and let me know if that solves your problem!

Thank you, I’ll give that a try and see how it works for me. Appreciate the assistance!

    Hey @mikefitzman,

Sure thing, no problem at all! I’m going to mark this thread as solved. If you have any further questions or need more help, you’re welcome to open another thread here. Cheers!
