Stats merging with SandBox

  • I installed 2.5 in my sandbox at home(localhost/geekazine2). Everything went fine but when I went to check my stats, it pointed to my sandbox.

    I am afraid it’s not only messing up my stats, but also might be messing up redirection. The site tries to go to https://www.geekazine.com/geekazine2.

    I need a way to disable the sandbox from talking to the WordPress side. Recommendataions?

    I need to find out where I need to go to get this fixed. I am seeing people are getting search results for my sandbox, which it takes them to error. When I choose “Dashboard”, it goes to a page that doesn’t exist.

    Still having issues. I know that this is a Plugin, but what concerns me the most is where the plugin is getting information. Moreover why is it merging stats with my sandbox?

    I had to make some redirect pages just in case this is leaking out on other sites.

    If anyone else is having this issue, please let me know.
