Stats: Don’t Count PageSpeed Insights Hits

    Is there any way to keep JetPack Stats from counting hits from PageSpeed Insights?

    I use both Boost and Stats. Lately, I’ve been noticing that whenever I update my critical CSS, and the speed scores are reloaded, a bunch of hits from the States is added to my stats. This also happens when I go to pagespeed.web.dev myself and test my site speed from there.

    I think Stats does try to discount bots, doesn’t it? Could that be extended to include discounting PageSpeed Insights?

    Jetpack Stats does attempt to filter out visits from bots, though it seems that visits from tools like PageSpeed Insights may not currently be excluded. As @lastsplash mentioned, we’ve passed this feedback along to our development team for review. While I don’t have a specific timeline, our team will consider any improvements to this in future updates.
