Stats by post author

  • Hello Team

    I am looking to add post statistics for members to see how their posts are performing by adding a front end shortcode (or something) to their profile pages.

    How do I show the users / authors the statistics only relating to their post preferably in the front end and if possible by individual posts.

    Hi there,

    Currently, we have no feature to display stats for the author to visitors. We have a Blog Stats widget; it will only show the total number of views to your blog.

    But if your site features content by multiple users, the stat will let you see (not your visitors) how much traffic each of them has generated. Clicking on a name will reveal the most popular posts and pages published by each author and the number of views each has attracted.

    You can go to https://wordpress.com/stats/day/example.com (replace example.com with your site’s address) and then go to the Authors section to view them.
