• I will do my best to describe what is the problem.

My site was set up with an API key and all was working great, however, the site did not function within IE properly due to a specific theme picked.

So, we changed themes, yet in effort to try and keep the theme we put the site up on another server to test and play with code. In the mean time, current site remand active but for some reason the test site wordpress account, which was set up for the test site, was picked up within my dashboard on my active site.

Here is the kicker, the hit counter for my active site picked up the current site. However, within dashboard it showed the test site. We deleted the test site and now it is null within the dashboard. Meaning, my counter still shows all the hits to my site, but dashboard has a login option to wordpress.com within a table. I want to login with my original wordpress account where I got my original API key which is associated with my active site. However, I am afraid of resetting my counter.

Did you follow and if so could I get some advice please?
