• I’ve just loaded up StatPress and am pleased with it except that when I go to the “Spy” tab, I get a series of windows download file dialog boxes for “get_html.php.” These php files are apparently coming from “https://hostip.info.” I think the download file behavior is usually due to the inability of a server to run a php script.

Has anyone had a similar experience or advice on what to do?

    Thanks!!

  • I’m having exactly the same problem. The more visitors I have the more “ge_html.php” boxes open up – I’m at about 20 now.

Sorry, no idea what to do though.

I’m having the same exact issue.

In addition, my WordPress installation has slowed to a crawl and the statpress Mysql table keeps growing and growing and growing….well you get the idea.

The statpress table is now bigger than every other table in all my Mysql databases combined. At one point it was 35Mb. Jeesh!

Looks like Google analytics it will be……

I’m no expert, but the spy windows are, I think, a symptom of Internet Explorer… Try it with Safari or FireFox 3 and it’ll work properly. (I had the same problem with IE 7)
