    Hi there,

I run two independent websites and both are currently facing this problem: Some days during the week (it’s mostly the weekend days) the stats show 0 impressions for that day.

I have already clicked on the Archive Report button in the Troubleshooting section.

I have been using Matomo for years and recommend it, but it is very critical when data is missing.

Can you check for visits in the Visits Log during those days? If there are no visits or impressions, it means no data was tracked during those days.

    Where is the Visits Log?

I am 100% sure that visits are tracked because I check several times a day how many users are online during the day.

It is located at Matomo Analytics > Reporting > Visitors > Visits Log. Select one of the days that’s missing data and check if there are any visits. The Visits Log doesn’t need archiving to display, so if there are visits there, we’ll know it’s an archiving issue. If there are no visits, then either there were no visitors for those days or the visitors that were there were not tracking.

Fortunately, there are visitors in the log.

@blapps Can you send a screenshot of the visits log for a day without data + a screenshot of a normal report on the same day to dizzy (at) innocraft (dot) com? Please make sure the date selector is in the screenshot.

If you could also send your system report that would be helpful (see https://matomo.org/faq/wordpress/how-do-i-find-and-copy-the-system-report-in-matomo-for-wordpress/).

    Done! I sent an email.

Thanks @blapps, that is certainly strange… Let’s try the following:

    • Go to Matomo Analytics > Marketplace > Install Plugins .
    • Install and activate the Invalidate Reports plugin.
    • Go to Matomo Analytics > Settings > Matomo Admin > System > Invalidate Reports
    • Invalidate reports for all segments for the last month.
    • Click WordPress Admin and go to Matomo Analytics > Diagnostics > Troubleshooting and click Archive Reports.
    • If it doesn’t finish successfully (it’s possible it may take too long), try it again. Then check if the data is back.

Hi @blapps, glad to hear it’s working! However, this problem shouldn’t have happened in the first place, so if it happens again, please let us know.
