Statistics Pane (Need Clarification)

    Hi there!

    Where can we find a better explanation for the Statistics pane of reSmush.it? (searched forum, no answers).

    The current pane is somewhat confusing. Specifically:

    (1) What does “Attachments optimized” mean?
    (2) What does “Image optimized (including thumbnails)” mean?
    (3) What does “Total images optimized” mean?

    Above questions appear to be quite dumb, I know. However, if you look here, you’ll notice there’s no correlation between the numbers we’re getting. For example, how can the “Total images optimized” be LESS than the “Image optimized (including thumbnails)”?

    Must have missed something . . . Thank you!

    Hi again ??

    Here are some explanations :
    – Attachments optimized are the number of items you have in your Media Library (in your screenshot (https://prnt.sc/jsb3bz) you have 247 items in your library)
    – Image optimized (including thumbnails) means that when you upload a picture in your media library, WP creates automatically different crops for your pictures. It can create at least 5 or 6 images sizes based on the image you’ve uploaded. Here, by counting all the files to optimize, you will have to send 4693 files to the reSmush.it API
    – Total images optimized: is the total number of attachments that have been optimized since the plugin has been installed (We know, it’s not very clear!)
