Statistics, Most Popular Post Per Day

  • Hello,

    I’m using Jetpack plugin with 15Zine theme, and for the last week I’ve noticed that on the main page [artnaz.com] the ‘Trending’ for the most viewed post per day is showing same posts with same view count.

    I’ve updated Jetpack, updated theme and also wp to latest versions.

    I’ve tried to disable jetpack and enable again, but it still shows those three posts.

    Most popular per week/month and all-time are working fine.

    Any ideas how to solve it?

    Could you go to Jetpack > Site Stats in your dashboard, and see if the most popular posts listed there are the same as in your theme?

    If so, it is most likely that Top Posts haven’t changed in the past week on your site.

    Hello Jeremy,

    as I mentioned above, weekly, monthly and all-time statistics is working fine. It’s the most popular for today which is going crazy.

    For example for today I had a post with 16 views about North Korea, and on main page the most popular is with 12 views. Several days later I had a post with 350 views, and it was not there as well.

    Do you experience the same issue when looking at Jetpack Stats directly in your dashboard?

    No, in dashboard numbers and posts are different each day.

    I’ve contacted theme developer, who said that the theme is taking info from jetpack statistcs.

    Could you ask the theme author for the code they used to retrieve top posts, or copy that code from your theme and paste it here so I can have a look at it?

    Since the theme is Premium, I’m afraid I can’t look myself.
