Hi All. Our website has been built on the WordPress platform and I have just taken over as Admin for the site. I have installed Jetpack (free) and I can see the very useful statistics about our visitors that it produces.

I want to email these figures to a few of my colleagues. I have added their names and email addresses, but none of my colleagues have received the report. Maybe I’ve misunderstood, but I THOUGHT the free version sent emails on a daily basis automatically (and If I wanted more data reporting or to send them other than daily, I’d need to upgrade). So, have I misunderstood? After entering the email addresses do the emails get sent EVERY DAY or do I need to manually send them from within the jetpax screen EACH TIME? Thanks, Steve

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @stevepalmeratwordpress,

Maybe I’ve misunderstood, but I THOUGHT the free version sent emails on a daily basis automatically (and If I wanted more data reporting or to send them other than daily, I’d need to upgrade).

I think the feature you’re referring to is the Subscription one, which automatically sends emails to the subscribers once you publish a post:

    https://jetpack.com/support/subscriptions/

To share the stats with your colleagues, you have two different options:

    1) If you go to At My Site -> Stats you can export the stats for specific stats modules as a CSV file.

For example if you visit this main stats page: https://wordpress.com/stats
Then click on the Posts and Pages card, you can see (on the next page) there is an option to export at the bottom`

Then you can share the CSV file via email.

    2) have your colleagues create their own WordPress.com users to access your site. You can add them as Contributors, or Authors, not as Admins. You can go to Tools → Marketing → Traffic from your WordPress dashboard and enable stats viewing for the other roles on the site.

Once they created their WordPress.com account, they’ll also need to connect the site to that account – clicking on Add a new site, choosing a Jetpack one and following the prompts on the screen.

From what you have asked in your message, I think that option N2 is the most efficient in the long term.

    Hope that answers your question!

    Glad to hear that, @stevepalmeratwordpress!

I’m going to mark this thread as solved. If you have any further questions or need some more help, you’re welcome to open another thread here. Cheers!
