Statistics broken / not loading

Hello,
The JP statistics on my photo club’s website (free plan) are not loading. The connection to dashboard.wordpress.com fails. After a (useless) attempt to get help via the (useless) chatbot*, I sent an email, to which “HappyBot” replied (more useful) with a request number (7689798).
(I chose this route because I suspect that the error messages contain site ID or other information that shouldn’t be in a public forum.)
Based on the reply from “HappyBot” I contacted our hosting company (Dreamhost) who confirmed that requests from our site end somewhere in Automattic’s network, being blocked or lost (they performed a tracert from the server our site is on, which fails, and from another server, where it works).
I sent two follow-up messages in reply to “HappyBot”, and have not heard back yet. Just wondering how long this usually takes nowadays.
Again request number is 7689798. I would appreciate it if an actual human could take a look.

*) it doesn’t seem very helpful to me that the error message in the WP dashboard/from JP links to a support page at Jetpack, where the ONLY option to get actual help with an apparently non-trivial problem is a chatbot that spits out useless “stochastic parrot” answers. Please don’t make it so hard for people who have an actual problem to get useful help.
