Static/Splash Page Comment Permalink Problem

I just created a static front page for my website. To do this, I had to create a new folder to redirect my wordpress blog pages. Everything looks and works just fine with the static page and redirection, except for the comments. The comment permalinks are not being directed to the new URL folder for the “blog” part of my website and when you click on “comments” in the new blog section, they are not there. They only come up if I manually type in the original url, not the new one.
Example: original: https://www.littlewindowshoppe.com – comments work great.
New blog section with Static: https://www.littlewindowshoppe.com/shoppe – comment permalinks do not change to fit this site.
What do I do? Thanks for any help.
